Are you where you wanted to be?

I can't help but feel full of fail lately. I remember when I was a snot nosed little rug rat.
When I was 5 I wanted to be an Aeronautical Engineer. No joke. That was what I wanted to do when I was 5. That's messed up. What happened to Fireman, and Astronaut? haha
I was a strange little boy.

At the least, I wanted to be flying. I can't think of when I am more happy then when I am at 200mph or faster.

Right now I am sitting in my apartment and walking around looking for jobs because gas is too expensive right now, and I like to eat.
Can't even get hired flipping burgers. What is wrong with the world right now?

Anyway, I can still see my goals, and I know at some point I will reach them. This is a true eye opener. I am depressed with life right now, but glad at the same time. Everyone needs a good smack in the face.

I am just sitting here waiting for the internet to get shut off. Wondering if you all are where you wanted to be.

If not, you need to step back, and take a look at your goals. Make it work. I liked where I was working, but I was getting comfortable. Shouldn't have let that happen. I am accepting the fact I was laid off, and thinking it could be a good thing if things turn around.

Thanks to my family, I have a bad sense of adventure. I want to do something new every day and master it. Sitting still drives me insane.

I am about to do something drastic just to change what I have been doing. What I have been doing is letting the world tell me what is dangerous and irresponsible, and not taking action. Things are going to change.

Are you where you want to be?

I am not where i wanted to be...I will never be where I wanted to be. But a few nights ago I had sex...wasn't looking for it, it was looking for me...Just proof that these down times are temporary. If we let it get the best of us we will only slip further into depression. The best advise I can give is stop looking down and look up...make it happen.

hahahahaha

And not on the giving side I take it...

I have been with two young girls at the same time. I can't ask for too much more in life there.
I blame the Z for that incident.
I involves a gas station on my way home from work, a girl talking to people with "cool cars" and a video camera.
No worries there Snw. I didn't do it in the Z. It was full of gear for work. Went over to their place.
Still have pictures. Tried to get a copy of the video.. I don't know where that ended up...
Be careful online.. You might run into it. lmao

Messed up...

So no one is where they want to be?

I am not saying there is one person out there with nothing they want to improve. But, in a general sense of being at a point in your life you wanted to be.

It seems to me that I still don`t know where I want to be. I know for sure though that where I am is not it. I mean I am buying a house, have some nice vehicles, make some moneys, but its just not where I want to be. Of course I never really thought about it either I never expected to live this long. I guess I will figure it out sooner or later. Maybe I am where I want to be.

Not only no, but hell no I'm not where I thought I'd be. After a shitstorm (that I produced) I've just now started working towards a real future. I get my AAS in Computer Networking here in 6 months, have a wonderful girlfriend that's stuck with me through all kinds of crap (mainly being an alcoholic from hell - never abusive though), and I finally have the car that I used to dreamed about when I was a kid.

All in all, I can't complain. I have more stories to tell than some of the grandfathers that I've met, and I still have a long way to go. As long as I'm on the right track I'm content.
