look around a bit in the 350Z section on why it's damn near impossible to mod a 350Z and gain HP.
Unless you wanna keep it stock.....but who does that?
oh yeah, Z32 here.

The G / 350's are still relatively new cars. the aftermarket manufacturers, I'm sure, are working day and night to get the speed parts out. I'm sure most people know of the greddy tt and stealen s/c kits already out. A guy that I was talking to at the msa show had the stealin s/c kit and he said it only added like 80 h.p. That's an expensive 80 h.p.
At $24.9k, I could still handle wearing the sidewalls off a 350 for a coupla years.

My Car
I Drive a 1982 280zx Coupe Hard top, Its slightly moded, After Zdayz I found that street Break Kits are not that great, so I am going to up grade to a track/street break kit along with sloted/drilled rotors. Also getting spring and struts done soon. I will be joining the airfoce soon and the L28 will be swaped out with a rb25, in a couple Zdayz to come hopfully their will be some Modified Compition at the car show. I made the mistake of skipping the Stock or Modified question on the registration sheet at Zdayz this year but now big deal considering there were only 3 other 280zx. I had fun and my car did too.

280zx's rock! Unfortunately neither one of my Z's are on the road right now. My daily driver is a '83 Celica GTS. Nice car though, with a 3/4 cam, about 150 horsepower 22r 4 cylinder engine. Anyway I am currently restoring my '82 280zx. The interior is about done on him. Just need to fix the dash smooth it out, and paint a few more parts, get new insulation and carpet, and then headliner for my t-tops. And then get him running better. Hopefully this year, I hope.

As my name suggests i drive a 280zx... All it has at the moment is a 2 and a half " zorst and a stereo... but i still absolutely love it to bits!!! its black, t top and in great nic. I used to have a massive loan and drive a 97 wrx wagon, but i seriously like my 280 more.... plus no loan

seems like the 260 is the least so far with 3.96% of the readers here... I HAVE ONE OF THE RAREST Z'S HERE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
anyway the 260 was the "slowest first gen z" but mine isn't. 200-210 hp 240z roundtops high lift cam... and other go fast goodies.

My first car was a 71 240z & Ive had 260z, 280z, 280zx, 280zx turbo, z31 NA, z31 turbo & a 95 Z32TT. I settled on my 86 turbo due to ease & inexpensiveness to modify. It is also very easy to work on. My 95 TT was too expensive and difficult to work on. Great car, just not as user friendly in the pocketbook.

pros and cons of 350z and 300zx
i had a 92 300zx, it was the car i always wanted. the things i didnt like about it was i didnt have the option to turn off and on the trac control. i did love the t tops and the option of a back seat though. the z32 came out way before its time. the only thing i do not like about my 350zs is that it does not come with t tops. everything in the car is great. i love my roadster for nice sunny day and i love my coupe for all others. give me your inputs and thoughts.
