General Z Discussion Forum...

So who wants one?

A place where we can discuss Z events and show off our cars to to all Z folk.
Not just people who drive the same generation as we happen to own.

LMAO you really want this. i would say the off-topic section would cover this, but i know what you mean, only so many people pay attention to that. and if you post in your year specific people wont look, and if its just to show-off where would it even belong? certainly not in the tech section. so i have to agree. it should be something that all generations can share. this section that is.

i understand what you are trying to do but i believe this website is not that huge to really worry about this. unlike hybrid this website just seems to be more laid back which is great.

How can there be 48 votes cast, with only 3 voters listed, and only 19 views?

do we really need a forum to talk about new forum requests?

...and the Honda stuff can be posted in "other cars" in the Off Topic section

lol, some mod tampered with your poll. but i like the idea JUST because there are people on here that view NOTHING but their own section's threads. thats my reason for liking it. prolly will have to take it up with silvrhand though.

That's pretty childish behavior for a forum moderator.

I only put up the first two options.
I've got no idea how the second two got there.

i acually lurked this fourm for a while before i joined, some decent info on the z31 era engines can be used else where but i noticed since i join theres been alot of other people join.

although some of them as more dumb questions than i do, i thouhg i asked stupid things untill some one asked about a box with a stick in z31 and that some one elses car wasnt running right in s130 with turbo injectors.

and kinda lately in the last week i see people pop up that have been members for a few years commin back, like that guy that bumped the post ***** thread

I stop by every 6 months or so, but quickly tire of it because when I check back here daily, there isn't much new to read so I stop checking.
There are some fun people here but with little traffic there little to read and little to respond to.
I'd just like to be able to go to one forum where owners of Zs of different generations can interact with each other...

"General Z car Discussion".

Damn! I'm the only one that wants a Honda forum!?

Anyway, I guess we could use a general Z forum, but I figured the Lounge was good enough for just general stuff including all Zs, as a bunch of people visit it anyway. That or the 280ZX forum, as that's where everything seems to be focused anyway.

i never look at the year specific forums, just the recent posts. with this technique i do interact with people with all kinds of z's. i'm not going to put down your idea, because i don't think that the new forum would hurt anything, but i will say i like the forum basically as it is. new addition or not, it's a great forum. the general Z talk part would be good, but i see that there is already a place for everything, so the addition may be pushing the line of over organizing. it may get harder to search... but, at any rate, i hope that what the users want gets done

Well I have one z32 N/A and 1 z32TT and one z33, so I say a general Z forum would be cool. I love all the Z's and I cant wait to get a hold of a z31.

You should talk to AZ-ZBUM sometime. He's banned me numerous times for ridiculous reasons.
1. Had a poll on Z31 looks vs. Z32 looks(fellow co-worker and Z31 owner's idea-he SWEARS the Z31 looks better)...AZ-ZBUM banned me for inciting a Z31 bashing thread.(hes a Z31 owner)
2. Got banned for saying that his car was appealing to the homosexual community(can kinda see this one)-got banned
3. Asked him why he didn't ban himself because he was attacking me repeatedly on the same thread while I was banned and was breaking his own "rules" - got banned over a week ago and am still banned.
