Breaking news... THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN Z CARS.

Z cars don't usually put food on the dinner table, they don't buy houses for us, they don't stack money away in a 401k for us. They do require gasoline though. Oh wait, WE pay for that too!

Baby forces sale!! LOL

I am hanging in there... things are super tight for me cuz I'm on my own and own a condo. the property taxes kill me and my company is not handing out raises. I work for a label manufacturing facility, and this is the first time ever in my 7 years working here that we are closing for Thanksgiving week. We sometimes close for Christmas week, but last year we got lucky and reamined open. this year we are closing for 2 weeks at Christmas time.... I will have to get a roommate or a second job in the new year. Other than that, I am trying not to stress out, I am not in debt, and still have some money left.

I wish my Z put food on the table.

Right now my gas tank is rotten, my tires I just bought at the beginning of summer are bald, and one is showing belt, and I have one melted carburetor that is struggling to work properly with ruined venturi's. Really need a clutch. All the rubber bushings are shot in the car too.

My Z happens to be rather expensive. Not sure about everyone else. I am about to dump the Z for a while, and go back to the motorcycle this winter. It will be much cheaper. But... The motorcycle needs tires, and a seal to be road worthy again...

Started this thread, because everything trickles down with the economy. Our cars will bear the brunt.

Adopt a Z today for just pennies a day. lmao

Very wise words right there.....

I'm in the mortgage industry and I'm busier than ever. In this market, if you're real good at what you do, then you'll do very well. If you approach your day with a half-assed attitude then you'll be one of the first to get the boot. Head down...work hard...and don't blame others when things don't go your way. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

If you think getting married is the end of your 'life' then you have the wrong idea about marriage. Go sleep around in your 20s if you want. It won't prepare to you to be a good and faithful husband.

(but still, don't get married at 18 or even 22)

I *might* have a job. Cross your fingers. This has been some of the two worst weeks in a long time for me. No one around me is hiring. This includes customer service. I go from diagnosing and wrenching on multi-million dollar machines, to flipping burgers... Yay economy.
Nah.. My new job might be spraying in bed liners for a local LINE-X company.
It's money. I won't complain. Just not where I saw things going when I started moving up in the world a couple years ago.

If I didn't have a day job and school to go to, I'd be flipping cars like hamburgers!

Not that kind of flipping... "fix and flipping". I do it in my spare time when I can. If I had A LOT of spare time, I'd flip A LOT of cars. Most of them I can get at least $1k profit. 10 cars a month x $1000 = $10k/mo ... tax free.

lol i never intended sleeping around to prepare you, if anything it will ruin your view on women. but marrying so young before really being able to experience your youth the way it was intended blows, plus, its just 10 more years with the old lady and progressively sagging ***** till the day you die. or her.... whichever comes first. lol. also, i think you didnt turn on your computers sarcasm detector.

I don't see a HUGE problem... I mean the housing business may be going slow but hey, I still see people out and about at the malls buying **** so it seems normal to me. And gas prices are low so ya..... weird.

My best friend just got laid off. He has two babies, and a wife to take care of.
"Things were just too slow"

He worked in a business called Pulse Combustion. They used jet engines to dry food and chemical products.

I am really bummed out right now.

Cable been gone for a while now. Phone will be last to go. Internet is next. But, it has been a major tool in helping me find a job. I will hopefully end up with a full time job, and a part time on top of it. Just long enough to pay up my debts, and join the military.
