Right on man, glad to hear your BMW isn't as bad as you thought. You will get it back to where it should be. I will admit, these cars, are about the only luxury car, I have liked. I still would like to have an '80's 2 door BMW someday. Anyway good luck to you bro', and we have faith in you.

Just got price quotes from Interstate Auto Body Supplies:

Hood - $100
L Fender - $77
Front Grill - $30
Rad Support - $18 (prolly incorrect... sellers online want $125 - $160)
Bumper Support - $20

-I have a huge can of primer... so add paint - $100

No one can get me the stock ///M3 sport bumper, so I might try to repair my urethane one... or ( I cringe ) might buy the stock one from BMW for $400+.

So body work is a done deal. Still need to worry about suspension.

Update on the Bimmer...

Almost back together. I've been working on it almost every night for the past two weeks. I just need to primer & paint the left quarter, & the front bumper. Stupid cars... who needs them anyway.

And the 318ti lives! Took her for a 60 mile trip today.... 34mpg baby! I finished priming the quarter, primed the left corner of the hood (I'm not going to replace the hood, just paint it), and decided I will keep the stock M3 bumper even though it's kinda torn up. It's now my runner car... I don't care what it looks like anymore. Next week I'll paint the quarter & hood... and that's it. Then I can work on the Z.

i really hope thats not primer lines on the back. if so you are going to have waves especially in black paint. even if u think u block it down. black paint is so hard to blend. better off sanding that hole rear quarter panel. good luck with that

This is not a lot of work (fender, rad support, quarter, paint)... Rebuilding a $150k Porsche that someone flipped is a lot of work.

haha no doubt its a handful but can be done with skillz. you seem to be showing them. bet that Porsche was a pain. i remember i had a 4runner i had to do. the ex boyfriend took 5 gallons of house paint and COVERED the car(yellow, white, green,)on a tan 4runner. of course insuranced said it was totaled but the girl JUST got the car no more then a week. guess who had to scrape all the paint and then REPAINT the car bc of eggin as well. i always think is kinda funny when brand new cars roll of the light within 2 hrs they are at the body shop >_<
