My wrx

I figure I'd be the first to post here.... I like my 04 wrx so far, but I am buying another Z (in the spring time hopefully). Then once i buy a Z the Rex is getting Cobb stage 2 which is complete turbo back ( 3" ) and engine management and i think i am going to add an up-pipe to it as well. All this should be only about $1800, and performance gains are trough the roof. i'll be looking at about 295 awhp hopefully i'll have that done by next winter so i can have some fun in the snow. I figure i do all of my cosmetic upgrades first so i still keep my warranty. I am going with JDM sti version 2 front lip, jdm sti rear aprons, jdm sti side skirts (installed), jdm fog lights ( bigger size than stock 04), my trunk is debadged. The reason i am going with these upgrades is because i want to look stock to people (cops) who don't know much about the subarus since all of these body pieces are pretty much accents of the body. And the quality is A+, (and so is the price, but what the hell you only live once )

I was gonna get Evo first, then while sitting in the dealership i called my insurance and my jaw dropped, then i checked my STI insurance, and same thing. I am paying alot for wrx $250 a month ( it was $280) which is almost as high as my payment. I am a poor college student . I Like the wrx so far, but i miss owning a Z

I dunno. As most of you know, I'm not a Z33 fan. I really like how the G35 looks. You need to add the spoiler. It's amazing how much better that car looks with the spoiler. Without it, it just looks unfinshed.

Nope it's the same one i was planning on getting all along. The owner is a buddy of mine and after driving my wrx he wants one, so he is gonna sell me the Z. Now i just found out that i'll have to wait a month before i can get it , but it's ok bc i made him sign a contract saying that the deposit i have given him is going to be refunded at 150% rate, and since i paid for half the car cash i don't think this will be a problem+ he lives two houses down from me, and i change the oil on it every 2500 miles as far as bike goes, i don't think i'll get it since it is going to be too much for a 21 year old to insure 04 wrx 96 z and a motorcycle

Just remember that you can still 'play drive' in your garage; eventhough you have a broken leg.

Right now I'm envisioning a 'beat-box' with a broken leg.

If I were to do a conversion, I'd maybe do a TT convertible. I really like how they look with the top down. The downsides of course is the extra weight and inferior handling (comparatively speaking to the non-vert). The verts also don't like quite as good with the top up, so I don't know. I'll propbably just mod the snot out of this and call it a good life.

slicktop 2+0 tt...my dream car.....when i told that to one of my buddies he told me that my dream is a reality, and that once i achieve it i won't be happy with it... i told him to go hit his head on the wall and think about what he just said to me.

they all dream about s7, noble m12's, and other supercars....me i want a good ol' paciffic mussle, with timeless looks

Since we've shifted a bit onto the topic of dream cars,....have you guys seen that new Lamorghini Murcielago Roadster??? That thing is sweet! I'm not sayin' I'd buy one, but they're nice.

How about the article in Road & Track titled '200 Proof'. They took the Ford GT, Posche Carrera GT and the Ferrari Enzo to the Las Vegas proving grounds. Bryan Herta from CART drove them. Not to spoil the ending, but all three broke 200MPH.

At this point in my life, I would find it very difficult to ever be able to justify buying a car that is worth more than most houses. There are so many other things that I would want instead.

Ha....I had to go scroll back this thread to see whihch once I was in. Topics like this make me lose all concentration.

OMG that was super sweet. it has adjustible rear wing, and calipers and rotors are bigger than civics wheels with tires... man that thing was sweet.
