Oh yea. Forgot about that. They didn't sell very many of those either. I think that car looks like a$$. Whoever designed it should be shot.

I do agree, it's not very elegant, and @ $30k+????? It could be fixed up with some body plastic. Have you seen under the hood? It's classically simplistic, kinda like a hot rod, I could actually work on the motor.

I read in my Car & Driver that the Corvette,( Not the Z06), is the best sports car on the raod period. It out performed all the porches, the Viper and many others to get this standing. They said the tracton control system using the medium settings gives the car some impressive numbers. With the control off the car gets way to loose in the corners and you cant get on the throttle early enough. And on the highest setting you dont get enough play in the car to slide the rear around. in the middle setting you have some room to play and you are able to get back in the throttle plenty early enough. The driver picked up a lot of time with the control on instead of off. he was very impressed cause he doest like to drive with traction control. but when he saw the time difference he was blown away.

I thought this was of interest and wanted to post it.

When outfitted with a Ford 3.0 liter twin turbocharged engine and tranny putting out 350bhp the price goes up an estimated 10-20K. Car and Driver lists the MSRP of the entire setup at just over 74K. Car and Driver's test results on the vehicle are as follows:

0-60: 3.3 seconds
0-100: 8.8 seconds
1/4 mile: 11.4 (I think thats exact, but I do remember it was in the 11s)

I saw the article in the new issue of C&D on page 102, check it out for yourself, its an amazing vehicle at that price! I think it needs to lose the wing though!

Buying a rolling chassis and having a motor installed wouldn't exactly be a production car, now would it.
