Hi, I was researching an issue I'm having with the radio on my 79 280zx and I found a post of yours that mentioned the exact same problem. Sometimes the volume goes really low and I have to turn the volume switch off and on to get it back. It is becoming more and more frequent and annoying. I'm wondering if you ever fixed it and can give me some advice on what needs to be done. I would prefer to fix it and stay stock if possible, but I'm really getting frustrated. Mine also loses the stereo signal when this happens, so it is extra annoying.
