son of a....

was trying to fix my window on the passanger side and managed to break the window. i am pissed. took the drivers side out too. oh well lighter for auto x tommorow.

Sorry to hear about that man. Did the window slip off the regulator? I had that happen to me before when I was aligning it so it'd close right. Definitely not fun trying to clean up all the shards and I'm pretty sure I still have a few pieces left in the door...

Get yer self a couple o sheets of 1/8" plexiglass, cut them to fit the windows, heat them and lightly roll over a steel drum to slightly curve them and mount them so you can just pop them out when needed and in when needed.

exactly....but i got drunk to dull the pain. auto x in 3 hours..... i will test my hungover sleep deprived driving skills. And yes snow, lexan time.

I try not to say alot of useless **** that annoys everyone. Thats why only 400 posts. I would like to think I get alot of respect all the same though.

As for Auto X, they would not let me run. Smell of booze or something.

Yeah you must have looked pretty messed up for them to stop ya... lol

And yeah, 1/8" lexan is ideal. anything thinner will crack on you after a few races. The volvo's lexan has been holding up just great for the last 2 years under all weather and driving conditions.

Well ya. And no pre reg fees. I will run next time maybe, I am about to park the z and drive the jeep while I tear down the inside and rebuild, also gonna take care of some body work while I am at it.
