Nissan Design Center North America
So,
As most of you know (or should know), Nissan's North American design center is in San Diego. It also turns out that they are one of my accounts. So guess who get's a private tour of the facility on monday???
ME!
I get to go where the average Joe never sees. It's gonna be sweeeeeeeeeeeet!
Sorry, no camera's allowed inside.
I'm hoping I spot something on the new GT-R while I am there.
Rod.

Talked to one of the guys at Nissan's SEMA booth today. I asked why they didn't have the Proto at the show. He said there will be something at the Detroit show next year. I said, "I hope they show something a little closer to productiron spec". He just smiled and said, "I guess we'll just have to see".

What a falker . . .we'll just have to see? pft, we been waiting to see for YEARS.
Get some pics rod. Do us all a favor and get something tangeable so as we all can get s glimpse of the production spec. Steal some documents, knock a designer out and nab his C.A.D. files. Shoot, make a run for one of the GTR's and get the hell outta there and then ship it to me, i have connections.

I have a relative at Nissan U.S. corporate (moving to TN), and he says that management is REAL good at keeping these things under wraps. Very few of the internal Nissan employees get to know much about new products. Just as tightly under wraps is their electronics / computer coding technology.
