Also, first pic on your 2nd post, it appears as if you didn't have the lip on when you took that pic...Am I correct?

no rally in this thing, to much money, but I will take it to the track once it gets warm, I have a score to settle with a buddy of mine in his evo, stock i beat himby like 4 seconds in a lap, then he spent some money and beat me by 2 seconds( damn understeer) , now it's mine turn to put him in his place, all i need is a new set of tires

So you spent almost 40k on a car to just drive around town in. I think that is wrong. I spent 30k on my Avalanche and I bought it to use it. I off road and DD it.

I guess what I am trying to say is, that car was designed to be driven hard and fast. When I buy my Vette this summer, you can bet that I am gonna drive the wheels off it during the summer. It will be stored in the winter. I have driven and STI, they are a very nice car with a lot of snap from the turbo. It can really get up and move. I just dont see not using it. I am unsure where you live. In Idaho we have lots of mountain and canyon roads I tear up in my Z, and when I had my 25k GTA Trans Am.

Would you spend $500.00 dollars on a steak dinner and only eat the salad.

just my thoughts, nothing personal.....

I have 382k on my 78Z, and ahe still does not smoke or burn any oil. I drive her hard buut not abusive. i also maintain her. Same with all my other cars. My Civic has 182K and has never had anything more than just basic maintainance done. My 02 Avalanche has 67k, and just basic Maintainance. I also Off road her a lot. I bought her for that reason. I bought the Z to drive and the civic is the wife's car.

?????? Just because i don't want to rally the car doesn't mean i don't drive it hard???? I drive my cars hard, but taking a vehicle rallying is pretty much waiting for **** to happen....first off suspension from the factory, even tho its good, it's not rally ready. I have taken the car to track twice already, i am getting it custom tuned at the end of the month. I've put on 7500 miles on it since mid november, and i only live 2 miles away from work. the whole point in me trading in a wrx for sti was to get the most out of the box i could, i almost got a 350z, but suby won. call me crazy but spendin 40k on a car and taking it off-roading with 4" of clearance just doesn't seem to bright to me
