It's a miracle!

I went to the DMV this afternoon without an appointment and was in and out of there within 5 minutes. Sorry, I know this is random, but it's amazing! What's the shortest amount of time you guys have been in the DMV for?

LOL, I did the same thing today..... no appointment. I was there around 40 minutes. I usually do my DMV stuff at the AAA office, but I had time to burn and didn't wanna drive the extra 20 miles r/t.

I think I have walked in during the middle of the week, bought tabs without waiting in line, and was out in basically 5 minutes. They don't take appointments though so I'm not sure what you're talking about there. The DOL takes even longer than the DMV in my experience.

I went a couple of days before my B-day and it took all of 5 minutes...including parking the car...and walking back to it...no appointment, just walked in mid-day.

CA DMV does appointments. You can schedule them ahead of time online

Hahaha That's not possible around here. Quickest I ever made it throught the DMV in Jacksonville NC was an hour and a half. Typical wait time is 2-3 hours. They usually have three people at the counter and they all pop in and out all day and they call people up one at a time about one person every10-15 minutes and it's always packed.

the DMV here is just Awfull. They have a number counter for each of the 4 counter spots. and two are alway's on break. The officer's are huge fat and smell fckin awfull. I thought any officer of the law have to pass some kind of obstical course. and with no help from hydrolics.

My last trip to the DMV only took about an hour and I thought that was awesome...

Usually it takes a lot longer.
