Intercoolers don't help a non-turbo engine :D

...unless its a Honda

No, actually it was for my sr motor, but then it ended up on the Z. :)

Snwy! I was just kidding. Put your K&N filter on one end of that intercooler and pipe your AFM to the other end. It'll still cool the air for your NA engine. You'lll get 3.8hp from the colder air at 6,800rpm! ;)

CanyonCarver 03-01-2007 12:31 PM

^^^ How do you cool ambient air cooler than ambient air with an intercooler? :) I think you forgot to mention the alky injection there.

thxone 03-01-2007 12:43 PM

What is needed is a spray bar in front of that "Cooler" and a switch under the throttle pedal so that when the car is floored it sprays the "Cooler" with water that has been stored in a special tank with a windshield washer bottle pump...come on guys, am I the only motorhead here??? Or am I redneck?

Bleach 03-01-2007 01:52 PM

The ambient air accross the aluminum will make it colder. Its the wind chill factor! :D

plus you have the look of a turbo engine with that big intercooler haning out front. Its worth it just for that alone!

CanyonCarver 03-01-2007 04:23 PM

Then all you'd need is one of those little blow-off valve sounding thingys back by the muffler and you'd be complete.

In that case, the spray bar will still work....do it man.....DO IT!!

CraigS 03-02-2007 12:38 PM
