Guess I'm neglecting the Z forum...I swear, I haven't forgotten about you guys. Just haven't been spending so much time on/with my car since I got my big ticket this summer ($1100 ticket was enough to make me stop and re-evaluate my situation for awhile). All-in-all I spend about 1-2 hours a week now

...hopefully, next summer will be the rebirth of my Z...I've been saving all my parts and money up for the day when the Z (and my wallet) are ready.....until then...work and school rule my life.

I guess when I think about if you consider construction zone violations and littering fines an $1100 ticket isn't really all that hard to acquire

My highest was almost $300. But that was only because I didnt pay it on time and it got bumped up a bit. I've only ever received speeding and parking tickets though. No wreckless driving tickets or anything that would amount to much My lowest bail ever was $500. Highest was $50k for something I didnt even do.

 

what didnt you do to earn a bail of 50k :O

 

my ticket was a speed contest (street racing) charge, w/ wreckless driving, and a heinous speed. When the cop pulled me over, the first words out of his mouth were: "So how come I'm not arresting you tonight?"

It was like 2am on the freeway, I was racing another car, and I was clocked at 120mph (no, it wasn't in my Z)

- on another note....I just paid the last payment on that ticket this afternoon! yay



....I know it's my fault, and a stupid move....so I can live without any more "lectures" about how dumb it was to do.

emo..I was in an 03 BMW 325xi...I was racing against another friend's 03 Z3 BMW.....and I lost (That's the price of losing I guess, the other driver didn't get a citation because he was ahead of me)....and wow, I bet all that makes me sound like an *******.
