Emissions

Hey uhm is my car going to pass emision tests after I do the TT? well i mean is it going to pass legaly? or am i gonna have to throw in a couple extrall bills?

If everything goes well, it should pass.
May want to check with 91. With what is went through he may be able to give you some pointers.

Of course, there is the "couple extra bills" approach if you can find a willing taker.

Take it to a smog ref to get the swap certified. They will give you a placard saying the swap is legal and all that stuff. Otherwise you won't pass if your smog station is ****. Just be sure you have all the smog equipment from the TT hooked up and working right too when you visit the smog ref or else they won't give you that placard. Those guys have a diagram of every single emissions part and will know if one is missing.

If I remember right they are different from test only stations. If you call the DMV, they should be able to point you in the right direction to the nearest one.
