they did these tests with race car drivers didier pironi and some others in 1981-2---very interesting---the race car driver didier pironi---formula 1 french guy in damn fine shape----got heart rate to 210 bpm......

I can vouch for that. I've been a drummer for 31 years. Never a gig goes by (winter or summer) that I don't get completely soaked in sweat. At the end of a 4 hour marathon show, I'm a wreck.
