L24 w/ triple Mikunis and Cartech blowthru turbo kit $2500 obo

Hey whats up I have a L24 thats been rebuilt, I'm not sure how long ago but the PO said that it was rebuilt. It has triple Minukis with intake manifold. The turbo kit is a Cartech turbo kit that includes intercooler with piping. It comes with a 5 speed transmission and I think it has an aftermarket shifter because its chromed and looks brand new. I'm looking to get $3000 as a high price, but I have to sell it because I'm going 1jz and I need to get money to fund the project. PM me or give me a call at 386-307-2593 Shane. I will also trade for 1jz swap parts like a crossmeber and other parts. AND IT RUNS and IM NOT PARTING IT OUT.

I really never had a thought of selling it. I'm 15 and this is my first car and project so this thing is like my baby. The car needs paint, some wiring bugs worked out, brakes, and a gas tank and it will be done. Make me an offer.

if you can tune. you can get some nice power out of that engine. i think for cool factor, that wins over a 1jz. true the 1jz will give more power, but that set up is very rare. and nice if you can get into jet swaps and tuning.

Well my dad is an old school rotary guy so he's pretty good with mikuni's and weber's. So I should be able to get a decent tune into it. I'm going to still work on it until the motor sells.

Would you sell just the turbo components? I have everything else already. If yes, how much?

Can't? Sure you can. You mean you will not.

When you change your mind let me know as I'm interested in the turbo components...as previously mentioned I have everything else already.

No problem. I just need about $2500 to buy a 2jz/1jz motor and trans, and the Beta motorsports crossmember.

That is freaking sick! Unfortunately, the only reason to do a turbo conversion like this would be for the "wow" factor...

Well it will be making decent power too. I'm buying the tank and throttle linkage for my car so I should have a video of it running and maybe driving soon.

Have you decided to part with only the turbo components yet?

Nope I'm not desperate to get rid of it anymore so it's all or nothing.

I'd go 2jz... Not 1jz

2jz learned from the 1jz's mistakes, which learned from the 7M.

Toyotas JZ and M series isnt bad, but the newer the better.

Yea I'm getting a free 2jz-ge longblock (which has the better bottom end) so I'm debating whether or not to finish this setup or just start the 2jz build.
