Hey Chewie, have you sold the 130 speedo yet? I am also looking for a gas cap if you have one? Any estimated price? Thanks

fairladyVT - Are the '79 and '83 tail lights the same? I forget when the change over was.

cm3 - I dont have any t-top covers since my car is a '79. and the console cover may be spoken for already, the rest is still up for grabs

jeff - The speedometer is not spoken for, I have a gas cap but the lock doesn't work.

I will PM you guys soon.

Hey Chewie as far as I know about the taillights they will plug in the same, but they are different in appearance. Anyway on the changover, the '79-81 had the same style then in '82-'83 they were the same but were different from the '79-'81. But I am pretty sure they will go on with no problem. I like the '82 lights better, they have a better look. But then it is all about taste.

Also let me know on those parts. And I also need a top rear bolt and nut for my exhaust manifold. Thanks man!

Thanks for the info!

I took the console lid off for you this weekend, I should have pics up for you in the next couple of days. Just by looking at it I'd say you can get it looking decent again just by painting it but to get it looking perfect you should recover it. I tried to pull the coinbox for you but couldn't figure it out. If you've got any advice on how to get it out please let me know. It's a bit dirty but I'll clean it up and if you repaint it anyways then it'll look great.

Btw: for those curious the head is an N47. I'd like to sell the motor whole, but will consider parting.

Yeah the coinbox is easy. You take it apart from underneath the center console. I think it is 4 screws, I just not long ago, put my warped one on temporarily. Just to see how it looked with the 2-tone scheme. Anyway hope this helps, and as long as the box is not cracked or warped. All it needs is a paintjob. And also let me know if you decide to part out some of the engine. I really need that nut and bolt for the exhaust manifold! Thanks man!

It is incredibly rusted. Infact, I'm amazed that its still attached!

Yeah that is cool no rush man. Whenever you get a chance, it is pretty easy to take out the console. Took me a few minutes and I have done it a few times!

what about the hood? Is it in good shape? I also need the rear brake calipers too. PM a price when you get the chance. If you pull em I can pay in advance if the price is right and pick up on my way through MI in about a week and a half on my way to VA. Oh, and the left rear taillight too, if its in good shape.

Sorry guys, I've been a bit out of the loop lately, looking for a job takes priority. I havn't been down to the car since I last posted so I dont have anything new to say.

jfairladyz - The hood is okay, the front edge has some rust through on the bottom side but other than that it's all surface rust. The brake calipers and tail light are all yours if you want them.

thykid - I assume you mean the tension rods on the hood right? if so I havn't a clue how to check them but they still hold the hood up just fine so if you want them PM me an offer.

gabrielzzz - I'm pretty sure I've got all that I'll have to check the d/s mirror and visor clips just to be sure, but as far as I know it's all there.

madlee - The rear brake cables were removed from the car, I have no idea why but I definately dont have them. Let me know if there's anything else you need.

I'm working on a revised system for the parting out of this car, in the next few weeks I hope to be spending a lot of time down there tearing apart the car, When I get back up here I'll post pictures of everything I pulled and you can PM me with requests or if you see something you need.

Anyone interested in taking the whole thing off my hands? $200 OBO Bring a battery and drive it away. You've seen the pics so I dont think I need to describe condition. NO TITLE, I can provide a bill of sale and info to contact previous owner if neccessary.

*EDIT* I am revising my position yet again, I'm no longer parting it out. I will be keeping it intact for my personal parts car. However I will still entertain offers for the whole thing.

Do you have a Dropping Resistor or any other electrical components for fuel injection? Please email me at samuelje93@yahoo.com
I don't get on here often and I may miss your reply otherwise. Thanks

Take a look through the pics and if you see something you want make me an offer, I'll take what I can get. I'm going to clean up those Shelby wheels and see if I can get them to shine, but they are for sale. I prefer local pickup on the big stuff. Anything under 50-75lbs I can ship. Car is located in Three Rivers, Michigan if you want to come see it.
