1981 Datsun 280ZX Turbo 67k Miles, Purchased from Orig. Owner, Clean $5,450
Hey Z car fans. I have for sale a 1981 Datsun 280ZX Turbo that I purchased from the original owner. Only 67,000 miles have been put on this car in its 29 years of existence and it is in very presentable condition. The body is very solid having been rust proofed since day one, not driven winters, and stored inside. This Z is very original, still having much of its original finish, does not have any modifications (other than the 280ZX lens kit on the back which can easily be removed), original engine (still has all of the original Nissan hose clamps, snaps, and such), original transmission, etc…. The exterior is very straight, glossy, and presentable. The black paint has much depth and is reflective over the whole car. There are only a few minor dings and chips. Glass, trim, bumpers, wheels, etc… all look great. Tires are Goodyears and have 90% tread left. Engine bay is clean and un-tampered with. Please view the large images to see how detailed this car is.
The interior on this 280ZX is in very nice condition. It has the more expensive tan leather option. There are no cracks on the dash, door panels, carpet, headliner, etc… are all very clean. Original floor mats, t-top shades and bags included, and original spare tire and kit present. The driver seat has two spots about an inch long where the seat cover is splitting at the seam. The leather on both the passenger and driver seat is somewhat worn but seat foam is still firm. The interior overall is very presentable.
This Z is ready to be driven. Oil just changed, tires rotated, fluids checked, clean air filter, newer battery, and brake pads have plenty of life. Mechanically this car is solid. It drives down the road straight, suspension feels tight, brakes work great, transmission shifts great, and engine has the power it should. The Z has a somewhat rough idle but once above 1500 rpm or cruising along it runs great. It runs smoother when warm. The starter sometimes will not catch on the first try when cold starting but otherwise works fine. Original radio works as does the power antenna. This Z is a pleasure to drive.
It has an automatic transmission, which all 1981 turbo models came with. The turbo spools, sounds, and feels great, just like it should.
The original owner hung onto to the original window sticker, bill of sale, and other documentation throughout the years, which will be included with the sale. A copy of the original title will also be included. This is your chance to own a very special, low mileage, and original vehicle. I would like to hang on to it but loss of storage due to my parents moving forces sale.
$5,450 or best offer. If you would like more information or to arrange to see the Z, please contact me. Serious inquiries only please. Call 262-391-1069 or 262-628-0181 or email: mjmoonwalker@hotmail.com More pics available upon request. Located in the town of Lisbon (just north of Sussex, 7 min west of Menomonee Falls) which is about 25 minutes west of Milwaukee, WI.

For some reason I am unable to upload or link to my images or even my Craigslist ad. To see images, please go to Craigslist.org for Milwaukee and search 280ZX and there will be a whole bunch of large images of the car.
Thanks.
Thanks.
