...and right when I get home from Canada I'll have to sand the clearcoat off to do the rust repair and bodywork on the hood and rest of the car.

remember, the passenger fender and door are the only body panels with any gloss at all. The rest are as dull as that hood and I've got some rust creeping here and there

i think its time we start putting together a plan of what we want to do at this meet. i'm not talking hour by hour or anything, but where do we want to go, are we going to the races, is the local club going to join the drive. just a rough idea of what we want to do.

thats a really good idea. there will be no races to drive at, we can watch, or ill check the local circle track for saturday night racing, its great there, the local club should have a few entries to our group, most from vancouver and further west than here, the pres. wants me to phone and remind him bout a week or 2 before, they all know good cruising areas cause theve done lots before. there are lots of toruism places to view all within a hour or 2's drive, so i can suggest, maybe find a webpage, then you guys can help decide.

how bout some bowling or something group oriented? Me and E talked and we want to hit up a driving range too, If you guys are up for that we can make it an outing. We for sure are going for a drive, maybe a drive and a BBQ/picnic, get some meat, coolers (not drinks, i mean coolers for meat) and hit up a park, throw the ball around lol. just throwing out ideas...

yeah, stuff like that. i like bowling, even though i suck at it. BBQ at a nice location, of course no DRINK drinks during a drive. just dink around some of the nicer parts of BC. great aquarium up in vancouver. stanley park is always nice. i'd love to go watch the races, even if we cant participate.

sounds good to me, there are more great bowling type stuff in abbotsford that i know, and great parks in mission, and theres even a monistary for monks we can visit and go do the picnic thing. i got a ball glove, ill have to find the *****, but completly do-able, the local skyline club is up for some fun too, and the local z club. so we went from 4 cars to no more than 50 and no less than 10

I'm up for bowling and wine coolers! LOL

That all sounds good. I'm no good at baseball and I've never played golf in my life but I'll try and have fun. Skully has to pick up 3 or 4 ladiez for himself first... and then he can join us.

you got that right! She doesn't like photos of her driver's side, especially since she's got a bruse on that headlight bucket

I'm not sure. He was working on his car this last weekend but had not touched it for a couple weeks prior. It'll depend on how much progress he makes on the car I guess...

So I guess I'll be removing AC and other little things today... everything except for the engine itself.

That's what I need to figure out soon... do I just swap the engine or mess with this NA engine to get it to pass emissions.
I have no idea if a turbo engine will pass NA smog checks. It'll be all stock...

Kev, I thought your ZX was old enough to bypass Emissions laws? whats the cutoff for Washington State anyway? I am worried about my ZX when I move to seattle in August

25 years old or older. My Z is 1982 so the check this year will be its last...

or, I swap the engine and after September I just don't buy tabs. Wait till Jan 2007 and get my tabs with no emissions check required. I'll see what happens this week. Maybe I can get it to pass

As much as I would love to, my "ZED" is in Oregon taking a rest from killing Vettes & hondas, Currently I am on a 1978 KZ650B2 & I doubt Kev will want to fly my wing as to make sure I don't become roadpizza in Canadia
lol besides I need to get off of my **** & find me a job in the not-so-greater seattle metro area

& my Birthday is July 28th not June 29th damn I'm gonna be 30!
