EFI or Carburetor
I just have a question for all you mechanically minded people.
At the moment my 260z has a L28, with EFI in it. my problem with it is that the cabelling is a total joke.
My question is. Am I better off re-cabling it all, or just taking it all out and putting the twin SU carburetors on it. Wich option will give me the best performance and economy.

Re: EFI or Carburetor
the efi will give u the best economy, but performance wise, many people stick by the 240z Su carburators, and many people say that the 280zx injection system sucks because the inlets are like 30mm, which is way way to small...
preferably its up to you, matters if you want more reliability with the efi or some muckups here and there with the SU's,
but also, someone here put 240z SU's onto there 280zx and they felt alot of differance, i've seen no hard facts on the performance figures so can't give u a real estimate, maybe find someone with a 260z with a L28 with 240z su's and have a ride in it...

Re: EFI or Carburetor
the owner of the z car workshop told me that SU's will be more reliable and more fuel efficient than the EFI
the EFI will give you more torque and if you want to turbo keep the EFI
72 240Z restoring
72 240Z RB25DET Conversion
