Ecu

Would you be able to put an ecu from a manual transmission onto an automatic tranny?

What would the major difference be?

Mine apparently is defective and that is the only one I could find seeing as my car is no longer on warranty!

I don't think so. The manual tranny ECU won't have any pins in the location where the auto tranny pins are supposed to be. The auto tranny is computer controlled and the manual obviously isn't.

Buy a re-flashed ECU or a NISMO ECU if your going through all the trouble.
