APS Twin Turbo 350z Here...

Just stopping in while my350z.com is down.

I'm running the APS Twin Turbo kit since late november.

So far so good, running 377RWHP 338TRQon a DTS Dyno, looking to meet up on a DynoJet soon for over 400HP results!

I've been driving the hell out of the car, been bouncing off red line, max mph, and no problems.

Got a half dozen worthwhile kills including saleens, SLK\AMG, 911 Turbo.....

Still working on launching though... Too much wheel spin

Working with Some Kumho 275/45 MX tires, doing better than my Nitto 555

Been having some troubles with an RPS flywheel & clutch setup, starter ring is getting eaten up, figure it's a starter mechanical problem?

Alright...

So I was just bouncing round the net, and found zdriver.com and I guess things are a little slow around here.

In either case, glad to be back.... sorry I missed these posts way back when I originally stopped by.

I'm running 8lbs of boost, on stock internals.

Since I left that first message, I got damn near 15K miles with the TTs on the car, and I have been on the track twice, ran 1/8th miles, and 1/4 miles.....

I got the car down to 12.9 on a street setup! @ 111.00! not bad for a streetable 420RWHP car with a legitimate street no B.S. setup.

You're saying that your 400Hp Z took out a 450HP 911 Turbo... that is also AWD Vs RWD (little or no wheel spin) ?

Are you sure the guy even saw you???? Based on the stats in your last post, there's no way you could take out a bone stock 911T... No way. Either he can't drive or he wasn't "Racing"

Not trying to be a dick here but reality can suck sometimes.

Sorry to burst that bubble.

Your car still sounds awesome. I like the set up and I'm sure it will more than hold its own against 99.9% of the cars out there.

Rod.

The 2 that we have done dyno'ed between 405 and 418. Thats on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno, Dynojet #s would be a bit higher

You do realize this guy's 420 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER is more than 450 CRANK horsepower that a 911 T has and those are the new ones

1996 911-TT aka probably around 320whp at all 4 wheels maybe 3300lbs
Displacement: 3.6 litres
Horespower: 400 hp @ 5,750 rpm CRANK
Torque: 400 lb-ft @ 4,500 rpm CRANK

2002 911 TT 3400lbs
Horsepower 415 hp @ 6000 rpm CRANK
Torque 415 lb-ft @ 2700-4600 rpm CRANK

But those are stats so.....

Either way a 400+whp Z will hang with alot of cars from a roll

WOW!.... old thread from teh dead, it even has black crow in it. either way its dumb thread... and the 911T would take his 377hp car unless it was from a roll then it would be an alright race... still gotta give it to the 911T.... and wehre the hell do you even find a saleen to race?

i would assume he means saleen mustangs. there is no way that z33 could keep up with an S7.

is there really any wonder behind it? thin aluminium black, high comp. pistons (unless they actually rebuilt the motor and turbo'ed the right way) add boost.... and KABOOM!!!!!
