Brake Upgrade to my Roadster

Since it looks like this section has had no activity in months I thought I would get it started. I started road racing my 350z roadster last year. First time out a noticed some brake fading after my 3rd 30 minute track session. Once brakes cooled off I was ok more or less for my last 2 sessions and my drive home. This year I upgraded oem pads to Hawk HPS added stainless steel brake lines and went to a heavier brake fluid. Left oem rotors in the interest of saving a few bucks. Found this minimal change in my brakes to be more than adequate. Pretty inexpensive upgrade and does the job well. Have a blast on the track and no brake fade what so ever.

Are you mainly using those pads also on the street?

Yes. These are good for street and track use. They seem to generate about the same amount of brakes dust as oem but on the street they are a bit noisy some of the time. Not enough to bother me but enough to irritate my wife.

And if they irritate the wife, then that's half the joy of owning them!
