Does these fit on the Z32 and under the stock rims? As many wrecked Z33's that seem to keep popping up I was wondering I'll be able to scope a set of calipers/rotors soon.

just the calipers, or the rotors as well?? i dont think the rotors will fit, and i need to get a look at the calipers. thats a good idea.

Nope they don't fit in the Z32's 16 inch rims.
... some kits have adapters so you can just fit the rotors(only) into 17's, not counting the addition size of the Brembo calipers. I wish they did

i think that yugo bernie makes adapters for the z33 calipers. but you will need 17" wheels at a minimum. hey, i have 17's!! off i go to the Nissan yard!! i think they have 3 or 4 z33s!

thats for z32 stock calipers. he wants to use z33 brembo calipers. i just read that the z33 brembo fronts will fit, you just need to drill the mounting holes on the z32 out a bit and re-tap them. for the rear, STi brembos bolt right up with the stock rotor.Originally Posted by MikeZ

changing the calipers to brembos only and not the master cylinder would be a bad idea. It's simple hydraulics say the stock z32 master pushes 10ccs of fluid during a full pedal travel. that 10cc is spread across the top of every piston inside all the calipers (lets forget about the 1:2 front/back proportioning valve) say it takes 6cc of fluid displacement to push the pistons far enough to make contact with the pads and put pressure on the rotors. That gives you another couple cc's to build pressure against the lines/system and such. Good deal everything works well.
Now assume the pistons on the brembos are bigger or there are more of them i.e. 6 piston instead of 4. So now it takes 9cc just to begin to put pressure on the rotors remember thats nearly the full travel of the pedal. Leaves 1cc of fluid for pressure against the lines/system for stopping power, would make your brakes feel mushy and would completely undo the reason for the upgrade to bigger calipers.
So, long story short, if you are going to upgrade the calipers you should upgrade the Master cylinder too.

To be fair I think that statistic has more to do with the dumb ****** driving them then the car itself.

You've heard it before but work is still so busy, when I get time off I just walk away from everything. I need to find a new job and starting that thread now, 2 years of this is enough and I am looking to see if I can find another similar salary.Originally Posted by entropy31

The front brake pads of the Z32 are the same size and shape as those for a stock WRX also, fyi. Originally Posted by entropy31
