Wiper issue

So I got this new wiper motor because my old one burnt out.

The wipers stop up and not down.

Ive re est the motor so that they are in the down position when starting and all that does is make them work once, stop up, and then it resets so they always stop up.

Im at a loss, and I cant pass inspection with them like that.

Someone help me out. Please.... I beg of you..

i have yet to screw with a z32's wiper system, but is there a sensor that tells the wiper to go back down?

I dont know what each wire does, the harness is fine.

Im going to assume there has to be some sort of switch or whatever that tells the wiper when its in rest mode. i dont know.

I just wont them to go down.
