Hmmm I have been watching this mod closely and have looked at the US spec motors and they are the only ones that have this throttle block plate....I do not have this on mine...my TBs open all the way till they hit the block gaurd on the TB itself.....
Hmmmm I guess Jspec thought of that first and then emissions and legal matters made Nissan put a blocking plate on there to regulate the intake....

Thinking more about this mod as it seems..
Now, if you were basically a chipped z with increase boost can the car compensate for more air already? I mean it has to balance that with more fuel right? The injectors are already tapped out near 14/15 psi or about 340/350rwhp?
Would this mod really help that much, I mean can the car actually deal with more air? If I'm not mistaken the JWT ECU runs a bit rich though, so maybe this would help? Would the ECU compensate or would you have to have an AFC to get the most out of this mod?

Check on this...
you guys need to take off the in air tube that goes to the throttle body first and see how flat the butterfly is at WOT. if its not flat then grind the stop down, or take out the bolt as mine was done. but one thing you don't want to happen is for it to open back the other direction.. then your just restricting air again.
