VG30DE to VG30E.
Ok, this shop I wandered into has offered to swap in a VG30E into my Z (not running, engine blew) I know absolutely nothing about Z31's. So guys, whats stock Horse Power? And do you think this would be a good swap? Thanks

Engine swap.
I'm not sure on the horsepower, but isn't the VG30E a SOHC engine as to oppose to the VG30DE wich is a DOHC engine. Anyways that sounds like a major loss in HP. I think the SOHC motor cranks out like 120-130 HP while the DOHC motor cranked about 180 HP. Someone PLEASE correct if I'm wrong.
