Valve trouble?

Alrighty guys, so yesterday I got hit in the middle of some high water in my car. In moving my car to high ground, I went through a little water, about to the fog lights and my car died. Well, it restarted and runs, but the loudest slapping noise can be heard from what appears to be a valve. Is my car absolutely ruined?

They're saying its a bent rod. Ive been stressing myself out over it for the last few days, but I got a great phonecall from the insurance saying that they're gonna cover it. So, yeah, Im happy as a clam.

The moral of this story is don't drive your car through puddles. Bad sh*t can happen.
