value cover

i broke a bolt in the exhaust valve cover. do you think it will be ok or should i try to get it out and how do i get it out?

Take the cover off and clamp some vice grips on it. Unless you like oil leaks

How did you manage to break a bolt off in it anyways? the heads and covers are aluminum and strip out before a steel bolt breaks most of the time... i sure hope its near the front of the engine, forget working on it in the back, good luck thats a tough one!

PS - its valve cover not value... unless you got the part at walmart;P

i don’t know i was replacing my fuel injectors and decided to do valve cover and it snap off i hop there enough sticking out to grip on to i wasn’t even turning with too much pressure. I’ll take it off when i get home tonight. i really don’t want to clean it again but know i have to buy another bolt fml

well lucky for me there was enough sticking out so i could get it out im very lucky but know i have to re clean all this RTV off they really need to have a gasket for this thing
