upper cabin air aspirator

the upper fan has been making scratchy squeeking sounds for a while, ive taken it off and tried to lubricate, but the screws are not going to lossen up, and its also very hard becase of the little screws and having to use a smallllll screw driver makes it 5x harder to turn, anyway, i took the fan out, what excatly is this going to do? just mess the automatic temp. control up? is anything else caused because of this? thanks a lot for anyone help

yep pretty much. Your climate controls won't work properly if that sensor isn't receiving a constant air flow to check the temp. You should try to fix it if you want your climate controls to function properly.

These two links should help you out on fixing the problem provided you didn't already destroy the fan and parts within.
