turbos are dead or boost leak...

my Z doesnt seem to be pulling that hard. the boost gauge is working, and it shows the full 14psi when i step on it, but it doesnt seem like its full potential. the engine sounds real throaty like a v8, cuz i have an intake, but i cant hear the spooling noise. but my left intercooler is kind of bent from an accident, and i was wondering if it could be a boost leak that is causing this weak boost. if there was boost leak, would the boost gauge still be showing full boost?

First run your codes...this is a given in most any situation. Hope that you do not get a 34. A boost leak very likely is the culprit because you get a full 14psi but if you get a boost leak tester you can track it soon enough. However, maybe you should look into a new aftermarket boost guage. The OEM one is not all that accurate nor dependable. Check the IC for a problem second.

14 psi, is 14 psi. If you've always been running at 14 psi, and you're still running 14 psi, then it's not a boost leak and it's not your turbos. Look elsewhere; i.e., fuel filter, air filter, plugs, etc.
