stupid question

usually valet keys only start the ignition and open the door. They usually won't open glovebox locks and trunk/hatches.

yes you can get a master key cut from a valet.
Difference between the two is the slots on the side of the key.

That's actually 2 things today. The other was the difference between the words passed and pasted.
