Quote: Can the stillen's fit with the turn signals in without any problem or is there cutting nessicary? Is there any difference with a Jspec Front Fascia (99 bumper). And since I got my Z I've seen the4 Stillens on CZP for $750 (hope the price doesn't rise before I can afford/need them.

Coz provides turn signal bulb adapters (right angle adapters) with the intercoolers so that you don't need to cut anything for them to fit - just splice in the new harnesses. I don't know if it's any different for the JSpec fascia, but I can't imagine it'd be too different.

i think 90 degree signal bulb adapter is provided from stillen, not from coz. i found that stillen doesn't work with jspec/ euro turn signals. they can only work with stock turn signals. i have jspec turn signals but i can't use them anymore b/c of stillen ICs in place. not sure with jspec fascia's turn signal lights.

fin straightening is important
but you should also either do a vacuum test on them or a dip test or soap bubble test to make sure they don't leak. Leaks as you know will cause boost spikes and pressure dips and screw up power delivery more than bent fins.

(for buying used ones)

that would be why i said pressure test them its the only true way to make sure it holds that key word, pressure. any good diesel mechanic has the ability to do this.

Wrong. I have Stillen SMIC's with Euro-spec smoked sidemarkers. And I know dozens of people with JSpec sidemarkers and Stillen SMIC's.

believe me it didn't work the first time i tried. i used it with stillen IC ducts. i even cut around one of the bulb holder opening on my jspec signal and trimmed the precut opening (square shape) on stillen IC duct in order make more clearence but still didn't work. after i read your post, i tried again. seem like it's gonna fit but i'll have take out the front bumper and trim the precut opening again. anyway, i'm going with 99' jspec front bumper after i finish with my engine pull. that's why, i didn't try hard at the first time. sorry for confusion!

Check to make sure the intercoolers are COMPLETELY installed. The flared tips on the pipes make them extremely difficult to get in all the way. And if they aren't in all the way, the intercooler will be too far forward resulting in the issues you're speaking of. So loosen the hose clamps and push ridiculously hard to see if perhaps they aren't in all the way.
