Rizz I started a trend huh?

Haha, guess I started a trend huh Rizz? Got everyone asking you questions now. haha. BUT I have one of my own again.

I have just made a very good sale for Night Szevyn Racing (1991 Skyline GTS for 17000 bucks legal). And for my commsion I am getting either JDM VG30DETT engine, ECU and wiring. OR I am getting 1200 bucks hard cash. Which do you think I should take? Im thinking the VG would be very nice seeming as my engine keeps having problems. haha. But I still have the sites on how to install a JDM VG engine that you gave me. But I need a more detailed site... Any ideas???? Shoot me back, or IM me at NISMO LMR. peace

Take it! Take it!! Take it!!!

LOL That sounds like an incredible deal! Think about it. You'll be getting basically everything you need practically handed to you. All you need now is the intercoolers and a tt tranny.
My memory is short. You have an N/A right? You've been wanting to do a swap right? LOL I have too many ppl asking me ?'s to keep track!! I think that what you'll be receiving is worth more than the 1200 offered. If you still wanna hold out for that other model VG that you wanted, you could easily sell what you've been given for much more than 1200 especially if sold seperately.

Does this help? How about this?
http://www.ttzd.com/tech/enginetech.html
The only other details that you're gonna get are the ones that you'll notice yourself when you get your own hands dirty! LOL
OH! and another thought, You can always sell your old engine after you swap anyway. Old VG's also sell on ebay. Granted not for very much if they aren't turboed, but they do sell.

As for trend starting, that you have my friend, that you have. LOL I don't mind though, makes me feel kinda important! LOL I guess I'll be holding a record for 'most threads with someone's name in the heading' or something similar. Ha ha

Haha, yea Rizz, Like I said, your the most knowledgable person in this whole forum. HANDS DOWN. But as for the ashley powers site, I already have that from the millions of other swaps threads we have had in this forum... haha. The other site doesnt seem of much help to tell you the truth. So Im guessing im going to need to just tear it all down and do it step by step... Its not going to be fun, but it'll be worth it all in the end. Thanks for the advice once again, peace

I don't know about that now!
I know a few things about Z32's cuz I have one. The older Z's on the other hand, I'm not as proficient with. I guess it's time to hunker down and do some homework! lol Thanks again anyway

What's wrong with the stock seats?
What's the difference between the GTR and Z32 seats?
The passenger seat in the Z would be the driver for the GTR, right? Is it power? Can you run a passenger side power seat in a Z? I have yet to see a power passenger seat.
Personally, I think the stock seats are very comfortable, functional, and quite supportive. Of course, that's for a person of my size, so..... it doesn't necessarily mean that you'd think the same. I just wanna reupholster mine. That's my only quibble with'em.

I'm not sure of the wiring of the seats. I imagine you could run a relay or two to provide the power to the seat. Just remember to fuse it properly is all I'll say.
