Got a bit of a problem here my reverse lights are out. and my Z needs to pass that PA state inspection and it aint passin right now.

1. Checked the bulbs they all work.
2. Took the Reverse light sensor/switch out of the tranny, its brand new. tested it by activating the switch manually.....its good the lights light up so all the wiring from there back is good.

Any ideas as to what is wrong.....Is it internal trannsmission problem or something stupid i havent thought of yet?

any help would be appreciated.

 

O NO DUDE! THAT MEANS YOUR CAR IS GOING TO BLOW UP AT ANY MOMENT! STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!!!

Actually I cant think of what it would be. If the bulbs are fine... And the sensor is fine... Maybe a fuse? Look through your fuse box, you may be surprised. Let us know whats up.

 

my back up lights do work, but it seems to be a problem with the sensor/switch in the shifter when going into reverse, unless I pull back the **** in a certain direction and hold it there, my back up lights won't go on.
