Replacing radiator... what else??

Going to replace the old Fatally broken radiator this weekend. Any thoughts on what else I should be replacing while I have it out? The water pump and belts have all been replaced within 15K miles. No sense in wasting all that open space.

Also going to be installing the Platinum 1 peice driveshaft next week. Any old threads out there that give me some helpful hints (ie: exhaust getting in the way).

Still having a major knocking sound when braking hard... it's really disheartning. If it truly is just the ABS Actuator I guess I have to live with it, but sheeesh it's annoying. I am almost tempted to remove the slotted rotors and Hawk pads and go back to stock.

replacing the radiator hoses are probably a good idea while you're at it.

coolant temp sensor probably while you are there, are you replacing it with the stock radiator? If you are in the hot *** climate such as Texas you might think about an oil cooler and an upgraded radiator, the oil cooler is next on my list.

2nd, as well as the thermostat mod. This mod hasn't been talked about much lately, but all you do is take out your stock thermostat (assuming it's still good) and drill a tiny hole into the mounting plate. This will allow slightly more coolant to flow through it while the thermostat is closed (if you notice, it has a tiny flapper to allow some coolant flow, but not much at all). This will reduce coolant temps by a few additional degrees as more fresh coolant is constantly flowing through the block... every little bit helps.

And if your brakes are clunking, I'd recommend researching the kingpin. It's a pin in the front suspension that can cause that when it wears out (my last 300ZX had that problem). Check that out before spending $$$$$ on fixing other things.
