Rebuilding Engine

-Can someone break down the things i would need to rebuild a 90' NA 185k mi motor? (also would help alot if the price was included).

-What about an automatic tranmission for same year?

-Considering that the early 300 z were problematic, and considering the price, would it be better/more reasonable/cheaper to a) rebuild motor and tranny, or b) buy a new motor and tranny?

(price not including labor please)

Thanks =)

define rebuild.

Price will ultimately depend on how well you research what you need/want. Labor, supplier, parts, part of the country you live in, all affect how much you'll ultimately pay for your repairs.

VG30DE's dont last long after a rebuild...

It's best to get a new one. You can pick one up for about the same price of a rebuild. I found a few for about $1,500.

I would suggest that.

Thanks for the info, 1,500 including transmission or not? If not, how much to add a manual transmission?
