hey well u guys have showed me how to get a TT into the 650HP range, and also told me a NA couldnt do better than roughly about 350HP... well, where i live... Plano, Texas... there's more NA's for sale, especially within my spending amount of $5000, so it looks like i'll most likely be getting a NA, but... i want more than the stock 222HP, and more than 350HP, and was wondering if it would be possible to buy a used TT motor and put it into my NA is that's what i get... is it possible? and roughly how much would a TT motor (used with good turbos, and fair milage) cost me?!? maybe this is how i can get a NA to have 650HP =0), thanx!

see, i LOVE the Z's, and im 16, and have loved them since i was 8! i have a frined (he's a 40yr. old mechanic) who has a 1986 300zx pushing almost 800HP, and he has a 1991 300zxTT with 830HP... and i LOVE his 1991 TT, and it's exactly what i want! and i know he put A LOT of money into it, and a lot of work, but i was wanting a 1991 300zx (TT preferably, but most likely gonna get a NA), and i want to put in the extra time and money to get it AT LEAST 500HP, and i was wondering how, and what it would roughly cost me, etc... and i figure if a NA motor cant do it, maybe buying a used TT motor would?! and if not, i'll just keep my eyes out for a TT!!! but its hard to find 1 here for $5000 casue NOONE will sell their's! haha, lucky bastards! anyway, any help, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated... plz email me @ davidz7369@yahoo.com and give me anything yall can come up wit, ANYTHING, or just write it in the forums, but an email will provide more room, thanx...

There are lots of posts (Even on this site, and twinturbo.net) About the engine swap. One thing stated almost unanimously is that it is just plain cheaper to hold out and buy a TT. I would suggest holding out for a TT. Make sure you are regularly checking Ebay, and autotrader for TTs in your region. Don't hesitate to head to another state for a car either. Just keep your eye out for the sweet deal, and take it when it comes.

whats up man my name is mike i used to live in plano i live off of alma and legacy but i moved to South Carolina b/c the marine corps made me but i can see about getting a tt for yeah i have a lot of friends throughout the states if you dont mind going a little bit outa your way to get it but check it out my wife and i will be home in december for the month hopefuly mabe we can get together and see whats up and maybe you'll have your z then and we can crusie to dallas or something anyways send me a message and maybe we can hook up when i get there later man good luck on finding a z
