Plenum

I just changed my spark plugs and while doing so I looked down into my plenum. There is wetness in there. Now I might be stupid but I thought only air went through the plenum, am I wrong? If not how could this be happening? I was told that my K&N filter could be sucking up water when it rains alot since it is right up front and close to the ground, is this possible? and is there anything I can do about the wetness in my plenum? Any help is appreciated.

I beleive there is something the magazines call a "bypass valve" (but in fact it is basically a filter that disposes of water in yuor intake). Its like 30 bucks brand new, check it out. peace

some wetness is expected if its oil. oil and exhaust is recirculated through your intake. Its part of the emissions stuff if its excessive maybe you should check your pcv valves they might be stuck on open. which would be better than them being stuck closed which would then build up pressure inside the engine and endup blowing a seal somewhere. laterz
