Oil Jet Squirter: why change when forging?
Oil Jet Squirter: why change when forging?
Hi all,
I got forged rods and pistons on TT, everywhere this is written I should change the Oil Jet Squirter and use the NA ones
but I have a different reason each time I ask...
does anyone know EXACTLY why ?
Z1motorsport says:
When upgrading to forged pistons such as Wiseco's, these Non Turbo oil squirters are recommended since the Twin Turbo oil squirters are too long and if left unmodified they can come in contact with the piston causing damage
conceptz says:
If you have upgraded pistons, we recommend to use the Non-Turbo jets as they provide a slightly large amount of oil
