Oil Change

I plan on using synthetic on my next change and was wondering what viscosity to use. 5W 30? Just got the car so it's the first change. Also what brand of filter is good? It's a turbo.

Nissan/ nippon filters are what i personally run (I ordered about 15 in bulk to stock up ), that or wix, or K & N...

I use 10w 30 in the winter (if it even gets driven), and 10w 40 in the summer.

yeah don't go 5-30. nissan engineers are pretty smart and they put the 10w 30 and 10w 40 sticker under the hood for a reason.

Ok, wasn't sure if synthetic would be the same equivalent. Never used it before.
