my security light doesnt flash, the alarm doesnt sound when i try the "breaking into" my own car trick, and my keyless remote isnt working... power locks are fine... is there a security ecu or relay that dies? this is a 94 convertible. any ideas?

 

Get an FSM here, in the EL or Electrical section starting at page 99 /143 in the PDF it goes completely over the system and on page 104 there are troubleshooting steps / flow chart

the diagnosis tree seems to indicate i need to replace the theft control module... where is it located? seems to be an inexpensive fix

 

page 123/143 in the same section is a diagram "Location of Electrical Units", pretty standard in the FSM's each has a similar section showing where on the harness all the "black boxes" are.
