Nitrous is installed!
Just got my Venom Kit running, WOW! I am running a estimated (guess) 50shot right now on a completely stock engine and man what a difference.
The VCN-1000 kit took me around 10 hours to install with some wiring cleanup left to do. I am going to slowly increase my flow to see where I can get to with the stock fuel system.

Re: Nitrous is installed!
It seems that I have discovered a failing injector but that aside the stock motor doesn't seem to even blink at it. The kit has a fuel/air ratio monitor and so far its in range other than now with this injector problem that has surfaced which has forced my to shut it down for now.
I stopped into the performance shop that filled up my bottle for the guys to look at. They build 1500+HP draggsters and said they have a whole regiment on tunning the systems thats the same wether it be a street/daily driver up to the 6sec cars they build. They explianed about reading the plug burn/heat to determine the max shot vs fuel delivery to prevent detonation. It sounded a little complex for me so I may let them dial it in for me to get the best shot I can off my fuel system. I don't want to go too high though, I think a 60-70 shot will be awsome and well within a safe operating range.
Here is a somewhat related question. Since I will be buying some new injectors soon and would hate to buy new stockers then find that when I want to run the 70shot I need more fuel I will have to buy new ones again. If I just go now to a notch or 2 with fuel flow will this force me to do the ecu as well or can I get away with a 10-20% increase without running too rich?
As far as the 10hours goes, that was really just me taking my time over a couple of nights. It could be done in an afternoon say about 4 hours is my guess. For this kit you have to remove the balance tube since you are tapping into the injector harness and you can get at it but just not cleanly. The tap to the injector harness provides the Venom control model a way to change the pules on each Injector to provide more fuel.
I think the other kits out there do not have this so a NX or NOS version would be a few hours easy.
One thing I will say about the Venom kit is the Jets suck. In order to change to a higher shot you have to take out the entire Jet where as on NOS kits for example you just take out the inside limiter (or whatever they call it) to restrict or allow flow. I will be changing over to the NOS setup since it is much easier to work with.
