Lower plenum hone

Here are a few pics of the Honed lower plenum from Stillen compared to the OEM plenum.

To hone the upper and lower plenums and polish the upper, it cost about $770. I haven't gottent he upper plenum yet. Stillen had them on backorder.


That is one of my favorite movies. Tis the season.

It's a bit more than just pulling it out. It's quite a job. The upper plenum is tough. The lower plenum is a *****. If you were to just plow right through it without stopping, assuming that you knew exactly what you were doing and had all of the necessary replacement parts, then I bet it would take twice as long as a timing belt job. For us average Joe's, I would say more like 15-20 hours total for this. If your car is in need of a timing belt, then do it with this job. Ifyou want to replace the injectors, then do it now also. PCV valves and hoses can be easily replaced with this job too.
