Leaking Coolant

I have a 1991 300zx 2+2 with a TT front clip I bought the car already converted. It recently developed a leak from the back of the engine and after using the online z32 manual I think its coming from the "timing control solenoid valve" the underside where you apply liquid gasket. I can't see anything above that with coolant on it and it's all wet on the underside but i'm still not sure since shouldn't that be oil? It only starts leaking after it warms up and the thermostat opens. I felt around all the hoses and used a mirror and couldn't see any of them leaking. The oil/coolant are normal and have no indications of mixing. Does anyone have an idea of where coolant could be coming from back there hopefully? Thanks.

heater core, or a line to the heater core. they run into the firewall. not sure what else up there would have coolant other than teh block. but i only know so much about teh actual schematics of the Z32 engine... havent owned one in about 2 years now so not much time put into researching them
