hey guys, im thinking of getting an intake for a 92 300zx N/A,
im wondering if i will feel any difference in the cars performance, and if i will be able to hear the sucking noise like they have on the preludes and accords (i like that heh),
and im not sure of what brand i should go for, JWT, APEXI, STILLEN ? which brand has the most performance ?

 

1) I would go with the JWT
2) expect 5-7 hp
3) never heard one on the NA, but I would suspect you would hear it. Its going to be subtle though, It won't whine like a turbo.

i was thinkin of JWT as well, a friend of mine said that the apexi might be better cuz it has the "dual funnel intake" do u kno if that might be more effective ?. - thx

 

If it is, it is going to be insignificant. You might get 1-2 more ponies, but who knows. I think the JWT is the best bang for your buck. Im not familiar with the APEXi unit.
