I need help with my interior?!
Hey peeps, lol
Ok here is the thing, I want to do a custom interior job on my car but there is no place around here that can do stuff like that. So i was wondering what kind of paint or dye i can use on the door panales and what not. I have already painted my center console in red using enamel and it seems to be holding pretty well but what can i use on the vinyl if anything. Please let me know and any hints or tips woudl be great thanx in advance.
thanx

Re: I need help with my interior?!
I tried some Vinyl paint once on an old beater I had and it did not hold up well. Any part that had continous rubbing like arm rests, handles and such came off very quickly. I can't remember the exact make of paint I used and there may be some better stuff out there by now. I remember trying to sand parts prior thinking it would help the bonding but that didn't work.
I have seen what I think are panel wraps that cover over colors and that might be a better solution. There is one nice pic on this site showing a custom interior and it looks pretty sharp.
