hey sorry about the other post but it decided to be gay and not let u see the pic. but do any of u guys know how to get rid of the spot right above the taillights where the turbo wing used to be. because i ordered that wing from stillen that looks like the f-40 style and i want the back to look like the rear of a non turbo. if anyone knows if i can get an insert or how i should get rid of it please let me know.

Not quite sure what you are talking about. Spot as in paint or what?

 

I believe what ur talking about is whenever u replace your twinturbo stock wedge shaped wing and put any other wing on you need to replace the plastic strip that contains the "nissan" and the "twinturbo" stickers. The strip right above the hatch line. That peice can be bought through your local nissan dealer or you can try Courtesy Nissan becuase they have just about everything. Hope that is what ur talking about and hope that helps.

 

You have to buy the factory strip with the third brake light assembly that comes on a non-turbo Z. It's black with the l.e.d. strip in the middle. Now, if you purchased the F-40 wing that comes with the third brake light, I'd suggest not connecting the third brake light in the strip. If it is really noticeable(red), you can take it to a paint shop and they can paint it by mixing clear with black paint and spraying thin coats until the level of tint "covers" the light. Good luck!
