i read the other hesitation forum and im not sure its the same problem. i have a 90 na and when i go from 1st to 2nd it hesitates even if you floor it same with every other gear. just wondering if there is any ideas and it doesnt happen everytime just every once in a while

 

I have a similar issue. Slightly rough idle and noticeable hesitation every time I shift. Every now and then I get a small backfire when this happens. Plugs are very clean. Probably too clean, like it's running lean. Other than that it runs very smoothly going down the road. If I let off and reapply the throttle without changing gears I don't feel the hesitation at all.
